PokerBROS Pineapple: when do I discard?
Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple start with three hole cards. OFC Pineapple is a different game with rows, not a shared flop.
First check which Pineapple
PokerBROS’ dated community-card explanation describes discarding one of three hole cards and continuing with two. If you see three personal rows, open the OFC explanation instead.
The documented timing
- Pineapple
Discard before the first preflop betting round.
- Crazy Pineapple
Discard after the flop betting round and before the turn.
- Scope
The source is dated August 19, 2021; these are not newly tested screens.
- PokerBROS published discard timing: PokerBROS Pineapple article.
A discard example
Start with A♠ K♠ Q♦ in an invented Crazy Pineapple hand. If you discard Q♦ at the required point, only A♠ K♠ remain. The queen cannot return later because it would improve the hand. This illustrates timing, not which card to choose.
Do not assume the timebank covers it
The August 19, 2021 article says the Pineapple discard has its own Action Time: Timebanks cannot extend it, and a timeout discards one of your three cards at random. DPH has not tested the current timer or prompt.
One board or two?
A later PokerBROS article describes Double Board variants. That is a separate table option, not a rule of every Pineapple game.
