Responsible play

Keep social poker in its place.

Poker should stay an activity you can stop. Decide the time and stopping point before you open the app or room, and step away when play starts affecting the rest of your life.

Choose the stopping point first

Decide how long you plan to play before you open the app, club, or room. Use an alarm or a calendar end time, and leave when that time arrives instead of negotiating with yourself for one more round.

A planned stopping point is easier to follow than a limit invented after you are already tired, frustrated, or distracted.

Take a break away from the screen

Stand up, move around, drink water, and look away from the device. A real break means leaving the table or room rather than switching to another poker screen.

Long sessions make it harder to notice fatigue and repeated mistakes. Regular breaks help you decide whether you still want to continue.

Stop when the game changes your behavior

End the session when one or more of these signs appear:

  1. You keep extending the time after deciding to stop.

  2. You are angry, exhausted, distracted, or no longer enjoying the game.

  3. Play is interfering with sleep, work, school, health, appointments, or relationships.

  4. You are hiding how long you have been playing.

  5. You immediately reopen the app after trying to take a break.

  6. You are using play to avoid something that needs your attention.

Stopping early is better than forcing a session that is no longer going well.

Protect the parts of life that come first

Do not schedule poker over sleep, meals, medication, work, school, caregiving, exercise, appointments, or time you already promised to someone else.

Keep notifications off when you are working, studying, resting, or spending time with other people. A club schedule or current table does not need an immediate response.

Use the controls the product actually provides

Some products publish session reminders, mute controls, notification settings, account restrictions, self-exclusion tools, or ways to close an account. Use only the controls confirmed for that product and follow the current official instructions.

A control listed for one app does not prove that every app, club, or account has the same option. If the public instructions are unclear, use the official support or account-settings route.

Keep account and contact information private

Do not share your password, one-time code, recovery details, identity documents, account access, private invitation, room link, or control of your device with a club, agent, player, or directory.

A public club ID or contact should still match the exact app, club, and represented role. Stop when the route changes unexpectedly or asks for information it does not need.

Get support when stopping is difficult

Talk to someone you trust and tell them what has been happening. Remove easy access to the app or room, turn off notifications, and create a break long enough to reset the routine.

A qualified support service in your country or region can help when poker activity is repeatedly affecting daily life or feels difficult to control.

For online help across countries, Gambling Therapy offers free practical advice and emotional support for gambling harm. In the United States and its territories, the National Council on Problem Gambling help page provides its current helpline and local treatment resources. Use the provider’s page for its contact options and service availability.

In an immediate emergency

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact the emergency service available where you are. Daily Poker Hub cannot provide emergency assistance.

The limit of this guidance

This page offers practical steps for managing time, attention, and privacy. It does not diagnose a condition, replace medical or mental-health care, promise confidentiality, or predict how a particular app or support service will respond.

Daily Poker Hub does not claim that social or virtual-chip play cannot cause harm simply because this site does not cover direct-money mechanics.
