Saved videos and articles
When you sign in by email or a connected social account, we store your account details, verified email, sign-in sessions and saved-item references, including videos, articles and club profiles, in our site database. A necessary cookie keeps you signed in. Social sign-in shares the profile details needed for your account. Cloudflare delivers requested email codes. Existing saves are linked when you verify the same email address. You can remove saves in Saved items and end your session with Sign out. Your email is not added to referral links or analytics. To request deletion of your reader account and its saved items, email editor@dailypokerhub.com from your account email and ask us to delete your reader account. We verify ownership before deleting account data. Newsletter subscriptions are managed separately through the unsubscribe link or the subscription contact below.
The sign-in form uses your country or region of residence to set the email choice. We suggest a country from Cloudflare’s location signal; you can correct it. EU, UK, EEA and Canadian registrations, and unknown locations, start with an unchecked opt-in. Elsewhere, the form explains that you will get updates and offers an opt-out. Signing in does not require marketing consent. We store the country, your choice, whether you explicitly opted in, the date and time, and the exact notice and checkbox wording shown. If you tell us that opt-in is required where you live, we keep that requirement for future choices. Your temporary choice stays in this browser tab during sign-in; your saved preference history is linked to your reader account in our site database. EmailOctopus remains responsible for confirmation, delivery and unsubscribes.
Email updates
When you submit an email signup form, we send your email address and the requested topic to EmailOctopus, our email service. New subscribers receive a confirmation email. We use the confirmed subscription to send the updates you requested, not to enroll you in unrelated topics.
EmailOctopus stores subscriber records and handles delivery, unsubscribe requests and email campaign reporting, including opens and link clicks. An unsubscribe link is included in every marketing email. You can also contact editor@dailypokerhub.com about your subscription or deletion of your subscriber record.
We do not put your email address in Google Analytics, page URLs or browser storage. The construction notice stores only a dismissal preference in your browser. Sending a message to one of our contact addresses does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Chat with DPH
When you open chat, a necessary browser cookie identifies your conversation and enforces your AI usage allowance. We store chat messages and the selected public page or card in our site database. Messages and relevant published information are sent through Cloudflare to its hosted answer model and TypeSafe’s Jev service for destination checks and sentiment analysis. Do not send payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information.
Your conversation becomes unavailable after 30 minutes without activity. Expired conversation records are removed when the chat service next handles a request. Usage records remain until the allowance resets. With analytics enabled, this browser tab also keeps references to public pages and cards you select. Chat uses these visits to suggest relevant questions. This visit context clears after 30 minutes without activity or when you turn analytics off. It is not stored with your conversation or sent to the answer models. Conversation and visit expiry do not delete analytics already collected.
With site analytics enabled, we measure chat entry points, answer checks, expressed sentiment categories, follow-up choices, feedback and email or Telegram actions. We do not send chat messages, email addresses or payment details to Google Analytics. Turning analytics off does not disable chat. Telegram receives the information you choose to send there; opening its link does not send your chat transcript. Email updates use the separate signup and confirmation process above.
Site measurement
Google Analytics loads without an opt-in prompt and uses first-party cookies to measure visits and sessions across pages. Measurement requests are sent to Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain disabled.
Your choice
Use Privacy choices at the bottom of a page to turn analytics off or enable analytics again. We store that preference in your browser. If you turn analytics off, we may ask again on a later visit, no more than once every seven days. We store the reminder time to avoid asking too often. Analytics stays off until you enable it again. Once you accept, automatic reminders stop. If your browser blocks preference storage, the choice may not persist across page loads.
What we measure
We measure public page views, including error pages, section navigation, public contact-link clicks, directory searches and filters, comparison actions, Daily Pick and official-source clicks, visible reading time, scroll depth, page timings, and error categories. We send page paths, referring origins and valid campaign tags, not full referring URLs or private link tokens. Search reporting uses result counts, query length and exact matches to public app names, not your raw text. Error messages, personal contact details and form contents are not collected by our custom events. Advertising, Google signals and custom user IDs are not enabled.
Changing your choice
If you turn analytics off, the site records that choice, disables future analytics loading, and removes the analytics tag and its first-party cookies from the page. This does not erase measurements already sent. The next page load keeps analytics off unless you enable it again.
Video players
Video thumbnails load from YouTube when you browse the video row. YouTube players load when you select Play, a video, or a channel with an available video. This connects your browser to YouTube and requests playback. You can stop playback with Close player. Expanding the player keeps the selected video.
