OFC Pineapple: rows, fouls and Fantasyland
Rows instead of a flop? Start with the row order and exact OFC mode, not community-card Pineapple instructions.
Why are there three rows?
Ordinary high-hand OFC uses a three-card front and five-card middle and back. The back must not be weaker than the middle, or the middle weaker than the front. Straights and flushes do not count in the three-card front. A foul loses row points and royalties.
How are the cards dealt?
PokerBROS’ June 3, 2021 Pineapple OFC rules start with five cards: place all five. Later deals give three cards: place two and discard one, until the rows contain 13 cards. Placed cards cannot move.
A foul you can see
Invented high-hand example: front Q♠ Q♥ Q♦; middle J♠ J♥ 9♣ 7♦ 3♠; back A♣ K♣ 10♣ 8♣ 4♣. The middle pair is weaker than the front’s three queens, so the arrangement fouls under that row-order rule. The back’s flush cannot fix it.

How are points scored?
The dated rules compare matching rows against each opponent: one point per row won, plus three for winning all three. Row royalties are added separately. The table’s point unit converts the score to chips; it is not a cash conversion.
What is Fantasyland?
In the published regular mode, a non-fouled front with a pair of queens or better enters Fantasyland next hand. Receive 14 cards together, arrange 13 face down and discard one. Stay with front trips or back four of a kind or better, while keeping valid rows.
Which Fantasyland mode?
The article gives Progressive entry counts of 14/15/16 for front QQ/KK/AA and 14 on re-entry. Ultimate keeps the entry count on re-entry. Joker adds two wild cards; Ultimate with Jokers can give 17 cards for front trips. These are dated published rules; DPH has not tested current mode settings or royalty tables.
