That field is optional in the published app flow. An independent club may state its own approval conditions; do not fill the box with a random code.

The number works, but the name is wrong
Stop before sending a membership request.
Compare the exact app, club name and public ID with the owning source.
Ask the sender which club they intended. Matching digits are not confirmation.
Send DPH a correction with the public source if our page is wrong.
Does it work on another app?
Identical digits on two platforms do not establish the same club or transfer membership. Keep the app name with the number.
