PokerBROS vs Pokerrrr 2: Club IDs and private room codes
PokerBROS uses an app-specific Club ID and club application. Pokerrrr 2 documents a host-created private game entered by code. Both have club features, so identify the invitation’s destination.
Club request or room code?
You want to host a one-off game for friends and send an invitation yourself. Pokerrrr 2’s documented create-room and share-code flow fits that task. If you want to join an existing PokerBROS club instead, obtain its app-specific Club ID and submit the documented request. Success means reaching the intended room or receiving club approval, respectively.
The differences that affect this choice
Scroll the table horizontally to see all columns when space is limited.
| Decision factor | PokerBROS | Pokerrrr 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Invitation | A Club ID identifies a club in PokerBROS; the joining request still needs approval. | Official FAQ: a host configures a private game and shares a game code. A club membership is a different destination. |
| Hosting cost | PokerBROS virtual items and club arrangements have separate scopes; no universal club charge is established here. | The official FAQ says hosting uses gold: non-tournament games charge per hour; tournaments charge per game, with the amount depending on settings. |
| Organizer task | Club owners administer the club; ordinary membership does not grant ownership controls. | Friendly & Club → Host is the published private-game path; invited players use Join and the code. |
| Computer route | No separate official desktop client confirmed in the reviewed evidence. | Google Play Games on Windows; Apple lists macOS 12+/M1+ for the iPad app with a macOS-unverified warning. |
| Before replacing a phone | Keep the original Login ID or provider route; a club number is not a recovery credential. | An older official guest-account warning records data-loss risk. Current recovery and device transfer were not tested. |

Who needs the host controls?
Before inviting your group, list the settings you need to control: game format, room rules and who may join. Check those settings in the host role. If you are an ordinary PokerBROS club member, ask who runs the table and whether that person can provide your required game; club administration features do not grant you that role.
Before sharing a Pokerrrr 2 code, check the gold charge for your chosen format and settings. Its FAQ distinguishes hourly non-tournament hosting from per-game tournament hosting. It does not supply one universal tournament rate, so a free download is not proof of free hosting.
Check accounts before changing devices
A host moving to a replacement phone should settle account access before sending new room invitations. In Pokerrrr 2, check whether the original profile is a guest account and follow its account guidance. In PokerBROS, use the original Login ID or provider route. Confirm the intended profile appears before treating the new device as ready for the group.
Sources and disclosure
The byline’s Sources dialog contains the dated public records behind these differences. Pokerrrr 2’s Apple compatibility and Google PC requirements were read October 10; the Mac listing explicitly remains unverified for macOS. Pokerrrr 2’s hosted-game path and gold-charge rules were read October 11. Other product and joining references retain their original check dates. No comparative speed, account transfer, club availability or gameplay outcome was tested. Sponsored placement does not decide the comparison.
