Inside Zynga Poker
Zynga Poker: Friends, chips and account data
Find your Buddy, check Facebook sign-in and the Guest chip limit, and read the data-copy and deletion steps. A full table does not mean your account is broken.
How do I find someone I played with?
Zynga’s Buddy guide says Facebook-connected accounts add Facebook friends who play Zynga Poker. For a Zynga or Guest account, it describes opening a player’s profile at a table or under Recently Played With, then selecting Add to Poker Buddies. These are documented steps, not a tested promise that a specific friend will appear.
Weekly leagues, rankings, tiers, trophies and missions are also part of the published social experience. They are different from your Buddy list and do not establish cash value or a universal measure of poker skill.
A public leaderboard or table can contain player information. Daily Poker Hub does not republish player names, avatars, account identifiers, chip totals, or social-graph information.
Availability, store ratings, and product restrictions
Zynga publishes the product across several devices and storefronts. Availability, account features, and content ratings can differ by country, storefront, device, and version.
Apple currently displays an 18+ content rating for the reviewed listing. Google Play can display a different content rating by region. Check Zynga’s current account requirements as well as the rating shown in your store; they answer different questions.
I reinstalled and my guest profile is gone
Zynga’s account guide warns that an old Guest account cannot be retrieved after uninstalling and creating a new guest. A new profile is not evidence that your earlier chips or progress moved across. This is why account type matters before deletion.
For a linked-account or access problem, use official Zynga Player Support and describe the sign-in method and change that happened. DPH cannot promise restoration or reverse an account restriction. Do not buy an account or hand it to a stranger offering to recover it.
Do not send another player, outside chip page, club, agent, or directory your password, one-time code, recovery details, identity documents, account access, or control of your device.
Data disclosures, copies and account deletion
The reviewed Apple listing describes tracking and linked-data categories. Google Play’s developer-provided Data Safety section lists collection and sharing categories and says data is not encrypted. These are store disclosures, not a DPH network-security test or proof about every connection. The listings link to Take-Two’s privacy policy for the full terms.
Zynga’s personal-data help directs players to its request portal using a Player ID and PIN for a data copy or deletion. Use the official private process; do not post either identifier in a public correction report or give it to another player.
The help says a deletion request can be canceled within seven days. It also warns that deleting game data does not cancel active subscriptions: cancel those with the relevant provider. A shared game account can bring other games into the deletion scope. Read the portal’s stated scope before submitting; DPH has not requested or deleted account data.
Daily Poker Hub does not republish players’ account details, friends, messages, balances, purchases or device identifiers.
Facebook stopped opening the game. Did I lose my account?
The embedded game ended, not the Facebook sign-in method. Zynga directs players to ZyngaPoker.com or its mobile app and says to use their original Facebook login or account email. Creating a new profile with another email can put you in a new player account. DPH has not tested an individual transfer or recovered progress.
I tapped Join on my Buddy. Why am I standing?
Zynga’s Buddy instructions say you can arrive standing when the table has no open seat. The Join action brings you to the table; it does not reserve a chair. Check for an available seat before assuming the invitation or your account is broken.
My new Buddy is not in the list yet
Check the account you used and whether the request was accepted. Zynga says a newly added friend may take up to 48 hours to appear after approval. Its help also suggests signing out and back in to refresh the list—but first make sure you can use your original sign-in method. That timing is guidance, not a promise about a particular account.
My chips changed. Is that a cash charge?
The game’s chip balance and a purchase receipt are different records. Zynga’s balance help describes virtual-chip deductions such as table rake or a tournament entry fee. Those examples do not prove why your balance changed. Check the account and activity involved; report an unexplained change to official Player Support rather than an outside chip seller.
For a Guest account, check the separate ten-billion-chip wallet limit in Zynga’s account guide. Its chip-balance help says the Hand Strength Meter fee is currently free; do not assume switching it off reverses a past deduction or explains a cash charge.
Can I switch off the Hand Strength Meter?
Zynga’s help says to tap the meter beneath your cards between hands to turn it on or off. That is the game’s own control, not permission to install an outside live-assistance program. If your screen differs, note the device, app version and mode rather than repeatedly tapping during a live hand.
What is a useful first message to Player Support?
Keep it specific: “I used Facebook login on the old game. On the new website I see a different profile.” Add the device, sign-in method, time and exact error. Do not include a password or one-time code. For a charge, use the official private support process for the receipt; a public screenshot of your payment account is not needed.
What Daily Poker Hub checked
On October 11, 2026, DPH read the public Zynga product page, identity-matched Apple and Google listings, Canvas retirement notice, Plus requirements, account limits, random-dealing and anti-bot help, the linked GLI certificate, personal-data help and the dated Golden Cauldron VIP rules. These support the specific claims above; a store description or help article is not a hands-on app test. DPH also followed the Canvas notice to the current browser entry and Amazon UK listing, and read the official Steam help and linked released Windows store page.
We also reread the Buddy joining, Buddy delay and chip-balance instructions. They support the existing help page’s full-table, friend-delay and meter-control explanations. Earlier September source captures remain in the source history.
No app was installed. We did not sign in, link or recover an account, create a room, join a table, play a hand, submit a player report, purchase chips, enter a sweepstakes or request data deletion. Current tables and account-specific availability remain unverified; live table collection is still paused.
The product page’s legacy embedded-Facebook route conflicts with the specific retirement notice. We use the notice for current access and retain the old source history. The GLI certificate’s 2022 test date is not changed to this review date.
